We spent the week between Christmas and New Year's Day in Hawaii. First trip there for most of us (second for some). Fun trip. The kids had a good time: got to ride a horse together and hide under the log from Jurassic Park! Full Gallery
A number of weeks ago, Little Zinn knew that she wanted to be Tinkerbell for Halloween. It didn't take much prodding for her to cast the rest of the family, as well. We had fun.
We had a fun Halloween here in Colorado. (Why has it taken me a week to say so? Can't quite explain it: time is flying by in general. I can't believe Thanksgiving is only a little over two weeks away.)
Jessica was a pirate. She chose the costume weeks before at the store, and would proudly explain anytime anyone cared to ask that she was going to be a pirate for Halloween. In fact, when asked once if she wanted to try on the costume, she then explained that the costume was for Halloween, and she had to wait until then to wear it.
We had lots of family over for the big night. Jessica got to trick or treat once at a community gathering and again in our neighborhood. She was very pleased to get candy, and equally pleased to help pass some out to those who came to our house.
